Gas Card Rebates
Credit cards that offer rebates for gas purchases are popular with prices as high as they are, but some gasoline rebate credit cards tell you about a rebate percentage, and then don't make it clear that the rebate percentage doesn't stay that high and may drop to only 1% or 2%.

You can get a better gas discount if you use a gas rebate credit card to purchase a gift card where you buy your gas. Often you can get some discount on the gift card and that plue your credit card rebate can add up to more than even the best gas rebate cards anywhere. Some of the more well-known credit cards that offer a gas rebate are Chase PerfectCard MasterCard, Citibank Dividend Platinum Select, MBNA AAA credit card, and American Express Blue Cash card.
